Small Screen Halloween: Spooky Selections for a Week of Freak
As you may have deduced from the amount of TV-related content that crawls down this page each day, we at O2 spend a lot of time in front of our respective tubes. This time of year, we especially love watching those hokey paranormal reality shows about topics like haunted castles, wacky ghost hunters, weird bird-beasts that lurk deep in the brush of some dark jungle, or similar such phantasmal fare. We’ll be the first to say a lot of this stuff has the words “bull” and “shit” written all over it, but we’re total dorks for Halloween. Which is only days away! Which is why we’ve put together this little list of spooky programming to guide you through the next week of nighttime television…

MONDAY
The three Americans who were freed recently from a leftist guerilla organization in the jungles of Colombia traveled home to Florida for the first time in more than five years on Saturday after undergoing 10 days of treatment in an Army medical center in Houston. Their highly publicized rescue by the Colombian military on July 2 served as a reminder that the large South American nation still has lots of problems, like political strife, a slowing economy, poverty, crime and drugs.
