This is just plain stupid speak. Promoting the wholesale elimination of nuclear power - a safe and reliable source of power, and replace it with a caron-free energy source that doesn't exist - all in the name of politcal expediency. Give me a break. There is nothing that can be developed in the short term that can take the place of Nuclear power or smog belching gas and coal plants. Typical liberal reponse to a problem -- complain but not be realistic about solutions. And solar and wind will NEVER be cheap enough or plentiful enough to replace baseload power. THE SUN DOES NOT SHINE 24-7-365 and the wind doesn't blow 24-7-365. What don't you understand?
